Service Technician
Company Overview - Life Safety is a fire protection and security service company based out of Buffalo, NY. We help many retailers like Target, The Home Depot and Office Max protect their properties nationwide by servicing their fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers and security systems. We are growing our presence nationally and are searching for qualified service technicians to test and repair fire alarms, security systems, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, etc.

Position Overview - The Service Technician will contribute to the growth and profitability of Life Safety by providing professional services on a variety of systems for our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide test and inspection services
• Trouble-shoot and repair systems
• Respond to emergency service requests
• Process service paperwork in a professional and timely fashion
• Use working knowledge of national and local fire codes, such as NFPA, to ensure proper design and operation of systems through customer facilities
• Effectively communicate and maintain working relationships with customers and co-workers


Qualifications

• 3+ years related industry experience
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Possess a can-do attitude and be willing to travel
• Confident, independent, self-motivated and success driven
